discosnp software package provides discovering Single Nucleotide Polymorphism from raw set(s) of reads, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install discosnp
discosnp is installed in your system.
Make ensure the discosnp package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep discosnp *
You will get with discosnp package name, version, architecture and description in a table
